Meow Wolf’s Radio Tave
In august of 2023, I was promoted from artist to manager of the Art Team Task Force at Meow Wolf. In this role, I facilitated the creation of site specific art. Below are pictures of the spaces I was heavily involved with by managing artists or contributing my own art.
Front of House
Collaborated with a team of 10 artists to facilitate the creation of 18 murals, guiding the process from ideation to completion. Partnered closely with the creative director to ensure cohesive designs aligned with the exhibit's overall vision. Provided hands-on support to artists, offering creative feedback, problem-solving solutions, and logistical coordination, including paint procurement, tool allocation, and managing lifts and scaffolding. Leveraged 3D modeling to map mural dimensions and thoughtfully assigned artists to spaces. Contributed directly by assisting with sketching, painting, and overnight shifts to maximize productivity in a dynamic, contractor-heavy environment. All photos courtesy Meow Wolf.

The Amalgam (Art Team Anchor) – Meow Wolf Houston
Served as a key collaborator in The Amalgam, a highly site-reactive, fully collaborative space blending planned and spontaneous art. Contributed from design phase to installation, managing budget tracking, tool and material procurement, and labor allocation. Coordinated with contractors, technical directors, and production designers to sequence complex installations, including lighting, flooring, electrical, and drywall. Curated approximately a third of the space’s objects through sourcing from thrift stores, garage sales, antique shops, and even dumpster diving. Contributed to design sessions for the Amalgam interior and brainstormed attachment methods. Facilitated the ideation and creation of hundreds of small sculptures for the space. Physically contributed to the structure's exterior sculpting. Facilitated the creation of all small dioramas in the space, contributing one of my own to the final installation.
Cowboix Hevvven – Radio Tave, Meow Wolf Houston
Cowboix Hevvven is an afterlife dive bar where every night is Friday night. As part of this immersive space, my team contributed to its authentic, lived-in aesthetic through aging treatments, custom floor finishes, and direct-to-surface poster installations. We handled propping, crafted custom signage, and created intricate dioramas that enriched the space's storytelling. Additionally, we seamlessly integrated and enhanced elements designed by Meow Wolf artists, ensuring every detail tied into the cohesive vision of this otherworldly venue.
